What Should I Wear ? -Valentine’s Day

Love is in the air ! All around the world guys and gals are getting everything ready for that one special person. This is the only holiday that you can’t really plan your outfit because everyone wants the plans to be somewhat of a surprise. This post will be more helpful for the people who known what they will be doing for the day.

Keeping in mind that this winter hasn’t been that cold, I came up with three sets that you can consider for Valentine’s Day. The first one is for those who are splurging on dinner or going to a special event. I went with a rose quartz wool silk cape dress by Valentino and a satin sandal by DSquared. For the accessories I went with a brown metallic clutch by Vivienne Westwood, a smokey quartz rose gold ring and rose gold earrings by Givenchy. Makeup would be sultry with a smokey brown palette and a rouge lip by Clarins. For hair I kept it elegant by going with a low up do bun touched up with some curls.

The second set is for the girl that will be spending the day doing a variety of different activities. It’s a fun and flirty outfit perfect for the day time. I paired a copper coloured jacquard top with a burgundy wrap over mini skirt and metallic triple strap sandal by Charolette Russe. For accessories, I chose grace drop earrings by Links of London, a blush oval diamond ring by Effy Morganite, and a rose quartz pave pyramid cuff bracelet by Michael Kors. The clutch I chose was a maroon velvet clutch by Kayu Andrea. For makeup and hair I kept it simple. A cat eye and red lipstick by MAC for the makeup and a low messy bun touched up a braid.

For the last set, dinner and a stroll around downtown would be the perfect setting for this outfit. It’s really sophisticated but edgy at the same time. I paired a pale pink crepe and feather top by The 2nd Skin & Co. with a black skirt by Oh My Love. For the shoes I chose a woven leather peep toe ankle boots by Gianvito Rossi and a small lizard embossed bag by YSL. The accessories I chose were rose gold diamond lever back earrings, double header spike bracelet and a rose gold fade triple band ring. For the makeup I went with a dramatic smokey eye and a cream lipstick by smashbox. The styling for the hair was kept super simple and sleek with a ponytail.
