What Do I Wear This With ? -Mesh Netting Edition

One of my favourite trends this season is definitely the mesh trend. This trend is so versatile as it can be done sporty or luxurious. It’s open layout allows the fabric to be either placed on top of another or used alone. For the three sets I created I went in different directions starting with a sporty look and working towards a sophistocated look.

The first look is a great transition look for spring into summer especially since the mornings are a bit chilly still. This look would be great for those who are still in school or have a day of errands. The top is a Yeezy season 1 sweatshirt, jeans are Freebirds distressed skinny jeans and the mesh feature of this set is the lightweight coat by Ivy Park. The shoes, which I think are super cool, are Tubular X sneakers by Adidas, the bag is a croc-effect neoprene backpack by Stella McCartney for Adidas and the black leather hat by Vianel.

For the second look I decided to contrast the two top colours for spring/summer which are rose quartz and serenity. This look would be best suited for when you’re going to lunch with the girls. The top is from Mango and the shorts are from Kendall and Kylie. These shorts are the feature of this look but do not have an over powering presence of mesh. If you want to try a trend out but aren’t totally sold, go for pieces that have details of that trend. The shoes are Mary Jane point flats and the bag is from Givenchy. To warm up and contrast the look, I chose to go with rose gold jewelry. The ring is from Michael Kors and the watch is Larsen & Jennings.

For the final look  the main piece is the feature. This look would be great for those who are more daring with trends and have a bridal or baby shower to attend. There is a variety of mesh used to create this unique dress and showcases the versatility of mesh fabric. The dress is from Burberry Prorsum and the shoes are from Giuseppe Zannoti. The bigger mesh fabric that was used in the dress reminded me of a hammock. In say thing that, I took inspiration from the beach for the accessories. The bangles are from Ashley Pittman and the earrings are from Theodora & Callum. The half moon bag is from A.P.C.
